Questions buyers ask
Is Tartrazine permitted in the GCC?
It is used in food in the Gulf, but permitted uses, maximum levels and any label statement are set by the GSO standard and by each national authority. This answer is to verify against the GSO text.
What is the difference between the powder and granular grades?
The colour is the same. Powder dissolves fastest; granular raises less dust and flows more easily. Denim's grade specifications are to confirm.
Do you supply FD&C certified Yellow No. 5?
For food sold in the US, the colour must come from a batch certified by FDA under 21 CFR Part 80. Whether Denim supplies certified batches is to confirm.
